In an effort to force a change in the way school districts are funded at the state level, Rep. Mario Scavello (R-Monroe) was joined by several of his colleagues including, Reps. Rosemary M. Brown (R-Monroe/Pike), Mike Peifer (R-Monroe/Pike/Wayne) and Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) at a press conference they recently held to detail their lawsuit in the Commonwealth Court to have the state’s 1991 funding formula ruled unconstitutional.
